Tents have the ultimate beauty of being deliberately unplugged.
Cars are left in the carpark and luggage is transported to your tent.
All sleeping accommodations are at least 81sqm, large safari tents furnished with ceiling to floor drapes, canvas, leather and recycled wooden furniture, deep luxurious beds, 1 king or 2 king singles, large decks with hammocks and rocking chairs looking out to the river, separate en suites with handmade wooden bathtubs and rain showers.
Furniture and furnishings have been selected with an emphasis on luxurious comfort, and an eye for an elegant rustic design concept reflecting both world-class standards and Truffle Lodge’s unique Australian Bush Camp character, but always keeping in mind that this is a rural property requiring practicality and functionality.
While on almost every occasion we are able to supply your room of choice, and will do our utmost to honour this, Truffle Lodge reserves the right to supply an equivalent room if necessary
Truffle Lodge cherishes it fauna, and adjacent farm livestock. Guests are asked to drive slowly, latch farm gates behind them and please respect the private lives of our native animals.
However, the wildlife may not respect your privacy!
Your reservation records your acceptance in you are in a tent in a natural, rural environment, with various insects and animals.
And, especially on the open decks, cobwebs can appear within minutes of cleaning, and the birds that visit you do poop!
