Exclusive Use Retreat was booked by a group of friends for this weekend at Truffle Lodge. The organiser has just contacted staff to thank them for their efforts in ensuring a fabulous time.
We frequently have groups booking Exclusive Use. Friend and family get-togethers are the most common, just to catch up, or for a special occasion. This weekend’s group were celebrating a birthday.
In some cases, one of the party organises and pays for everything. Other times everybody chips in. One guest once told me that it made such sense. “ It is much easier than trying to work out what to buy for a present”, she said. “We all just paid our own way, and have a wonderful time together. What better birthday present is there than wonderful memories”.
Last year we had an English family book out Truffle Lodge over the festive season. All their Australian family members then flew down and joined them for the ultimate family holiday.
Guests who have Exclusive Use at Truffle Lodge often also book group experiences. Kayaking is very popular, as is group bushwalking on ‘paths less well travelled’, and cellar door tours.
Corporate groups also like to take advantage of the experiences for team building. They frequently have group meetings after breakfast, and then head out on a challenge in the afternoon. A group trip to Maydena for a downhill on the cross-country dirt bikes is perfect.
Truffle Lodge’s shared table dining is perfect for group getaways. Individuals and couples can have time alone, in their tent, around the property, or exploring the valley. And then everyone can come together at mealtime. Flex it the way you want to.
