We do things a little differently at Truffle Lodge. Here life flows at a gentler pace so it is perfect for those wanting a more personal and meaningful experience.

 

Truffle Lodge is dedicated to the quality of BEING, not of doing or having.

 

 

For your use exclusively

 

Created in 2017 as a luxury hotel under canvas, the entire property will be for your use exclusively. Book for 2 or more nights, with you  two and up to 14 of your nearest and dearest staying in the 8 large ensuite tents.

You will enjoy gathering together in the beautiful communal rooms of The Lodge, in the open Canopy tent, out around the fire pit star-gazing, or platypus-spotting down by the river.

 

 

Your choice of stunning setting

 

.The dining room and deck overhanging the the river is perfect for your reception dinner or luncheon.

The Canopy tent hanging above the river is the perfect space for your ceremony.

Or you might prefer to have the ceremony down by the river, and your reception in the open Canopy Tent.

 

There are so many photographic options and for a stunning photo opportunity, consider arrivals or departures by helicopter.

 

 

Are you having a wedding planner?

 

If you are having an elopement or micro wedding, you might not be planning to use  a planner.

 

But we do suggest that it is worth considering having a planner.

 

 

Wedding Planners so you can relax

 

Weddings are such a busy time – we don’t have to tell you that!

But they are most importantly an expression of love and hope and togetherness.

 

So we are fans of using Wedding Planners, if only in a limited capacity. They take the pressure off you and your loved ones, before and on the day.  This way you can relax, enjoy and concentrate on what is really important

 

Being all together on site at Truffle Lodge gives the time and space to create special memories to treasure forever. Take the time to spend precious moments with those who really matter, saying the things that really matter.

 

By using a wedding planner, everybody is relaxed on the day.

Your wedding planner will ensure that everything runs smoothly so that you and your loved ones can just lose yourselves in the joy of the day.

 

 

But the choice is yours and we are happy to work with you directly or through your planner.

Pricing 2024-25

 

 

This unique property is a very special choice for your Tasmanian Elopement Microwedding venue.

 

 

The Package

2 night minimum stay

Exclusive Use

8 luxury accommodation tents for maximum 2 persons per tent

Continental breakfast buffet for up to 16 in house guests each day

Set 2 course dinner for up to 16 in-house guests each day. One of these may be a reception luncheon or a dinner.

 

Monday – Thursday Rate from $5000/day

Friday, Saturday, Sunday Rate from $5400/day

Public Holiday Rates from $5800/day

A one off payment of $1000 Security Deposit is payable to cover any damage to the property. This will be refunded within 1 week of the wedding if there is no damage chargeable.

 

 

Our ‘European Wedding’ Style

 

The rate above is for a European style wedding, which is intimate and authentic, and suits our slow aesthetic. It favours a simple gathering of loved ones to witness your commitment, followed by relaxed meal together.

 

The rate above is based on our established set menu 2 course menu for the reception. We are happy to discuss other menus and pricing with you.

The set menu dinners do not include beverages and we are happy to tailor beverages to your preferred model.

 

This is a bare bonespoackage including the itemised accommodation and meals only. We are happy to assist with finding a celebrant, and other services, which you can then arrange directly.

 

If you would like something more elaborate, we are happy to discuss this with your wedding planner.

 

 

October to March

 

Our wedding season is usually confined to the warmer, drier months for obvious reasons. If you would like to ???? for a wedding with the Aurora Australis in April have a chat with us.

 

 

Terms and Payment

 

You will be able to book directly via our company online booking facility, which will immediately confirm your reservation.

• 40% non-refundable Booking Fee is payable immediately to secure the dates.
• Non-refundable Balance will be due 90 days before the wedding, at which time the wedding is confirmed.
• In the event that the Balance is not paid by the specified date, the wedding will be deemed as cancelled. The Booking fee will be forfeited. Truffle Lodge reserves the right to open the dates for resale.
• The $1000.00 Security Deposit is payable 90 days before the wedding.
• The security Deposit will be refunded in full if there are no deductions to be made.
• If there are deductions to be made, the Security Deposit will be refunded, less deductions once the property has been made good.
• Cancellations most be submitted in writing. The 40% Non-refundable Booking Fee will be forfeited. If the cancellation is within 90 days of the wedding, the Non-refundable Balance will be forfeited. If the Security Deposit has been paid, this will be refunded.
• Truffle Lodge accepts payment by direct bank transfer or credit card. Creditcard fees apply – 1.95% for Master or Visa Card, 3.5% for Amex, 3.95% for International cards
